Fueling new heights of customer service.

About

At Tennessee Aircraft, we understand the critical factors that impact our customers’ operations.

Fuel nozzle condition plays a pivotal role in engine performance and longevity. Regular cleaning and testing are essential to maximize the lifespan of the engine’s hot section. To minimize your downtime, we offer next-day service for both Simplex and Duplex nozzles.

Effective fuel atomization within the combustor is crucial. Inadequate atomization, such as streaks or voids, can result in raw flame contacting metal parts, potentially causing severe damage. To ensure optimal performance, we employ a combination of chemical and pyrolytic cleaning processes, preserving the integrity of matched components. Our advanced techniques include heated chemical baths, ultrasonic cleaning, digitally controlled ovens, and other cutting-edge methods to remove all hydrocarbons and contaminants.

Each nozzle undergoes meticulous inspection. We analyze every detail, including cracks, dimensions, conical surfaces, distortion, deformation, and material loss, to ensure compliance with all manufacturer specifications. We measure flow rates using a digital computer on our fuel atomizer test stand, and assess spray quality, spray pattern, and cone concentricity. Detailed reports of these results are provided to you.

We offer cost-effective solutions with FAA-approved repairs performed in-house, utilizing argon shielded cyber TIG welding and precision machining. By designing and building our own tooling and fixtures, we minimize reliance on external vendors and reduce the need for replacement nozzles. Our commitment to superior quality, quick turnaround times, and competitive pricing ensures that you receive exceptional fuel nozzle maintenance.

For reliable, high-quality service, contact us for your next fuel nozzle maintenance.
